NOS Wheelhorse rear weights

In 1989 when I bought my 312-8 one of the options I wanted was a set of rear WH weights. I remember coming home from work and driving in the driveway to see a new beautiful Wh tractor that was delivered with the wrong weights. Long story short I settled for a pair I did not want but use them to this day on the 400 series workers in the Winter. Last month I ended up , finally after 32 years with the OEM weights I always wanted. A big THANK YOU to one of our best members from CT  who you all know that also delivered them to Maine with no delivery charge. The weights are way to nice to use but you may see them at some point on Side Shot Saturday & Sunday on the 312-8 where they belong and then back on the shelf to save them for the next RS member to enjoy them.         Buddy.

Very nice! It's good to hear that they'll be preserved.

I recently sold a pair. I couldn't bring myself to use them, I don't have and likely never will have a show tractor, so I let them go to someone else.

 I always appreciate preserving those nos parts, but don't be afraid to use 'em , they're still available.

12 " I'm thinkin Plunge. I have been known to just cut some 1/2" all thread tho. Leave a little extra on the outside to thread some pike nuts on.

The bolts measure 1/2" x 9"

Per my customers' request : Please install new rear weights on this tractor before purchase. I guess they won't be new for long.

Are you sure these are the right chains? It seems way too short--like it is sized for narrower or smaller diameter tires so the locking arm could go through the end link and then hook back as its supposed to.

Agreed, chains don't fit right, had no time to fight with them tonight. They are marked as the matching size for these tires. Tomorrow....
