8ntruck 7,016 #27 Posted November 27, 2021 Took another pass at the saw today. Different fuel, same results. The choke linkage went weird, so I took the top cover off of the saw to see what is going on. Immediately saw what the carb ingested - the foam air filter element was disintegrating. I was holding it with two fingers at one edge. The weight of the element made it break, leaving a pinched off piece between my fingers. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
