WHGuy413 2,683 #204 Posted December 31, 2021 @dola12 that bucket came out great. You shouldn’t have any problems moving snow with that.
dola12 116 #205 Posted January 1, 2022 Little more fit and fab and motivation should do the trick…. Thanks
pfrederi 17,739 #206 Posted January 1, 2022 (edited) That is a beautiful bucket and I am sure you will find lots of uses for it!! But I have had a D200 with FEL for many years never once considered it for snow duty. my Neighbor bought a new Kubota B2601 with a FEL, to use instead of his WH1075 with plow. Used the FEL once (guess you have to justify the expenditure to the boss. Went back to plowing and once in a while using his FEL on the township plow pile (My blower handles that)/ They are very powerful but not very fast at snow removal... But if you like seat time... However to reiterate; that is a grat bucket and you will have lots of uses for it!!! Edited January 1, 2022 by pfrederi
dola12 116 #207 Posted January 1, 2022 I will mainly use the bucket for dirt work and moving snow banks to fit my trash barrels … stuff like that …. The other one w the plow blade will be my go to for snow removal … thanks .. got to find some motivation to fit and finish fab work…
rjg854 11,361 #208 Posted January 1, 2022 It's going to be over 50 degrees here again today, suppose I should check to see if the tractors start after just sitting all this time waiting for some action. Here we are already into January, and still it looks like a couple more weeks before we get any real cold temps. We've had a little snow here and there, but let it sit and it will melt by mid afternoon. I have the plow and the blower set higher than the snow we've gotten, because of the gravel driveway.
kpinnc 12,028 #209 Posted January 3, 2022 What in the heck? 75 degrees yesterday, and look at this morning... Snowing like crazy! Not gonna be any accumulation, but that is fine with me. NC weather is crazy!

WHGuy413 2,683 #212 Posted January 3, 2022 The boys and I are ready. They still think I need to put another snow plow on another tractor and my other 2 stage on. I think we will be fine with what we have here. 4
19richie66 17,508 #213 Posted January 3, 2022 Actually had some flakes dropping here today. Gone when they hit the ground. Hopefully I won’t be ice skating going home tonight
Mike in NC 341 #214 Posted January 3, 2022 We got around 6 inches here. The Bronco 14 did a great job. Had a couple repairs to make while plowing, but it is running. 5

Pullstart 62,870 #216 Posted January 7, 2022 I fired up the 310-8 last night and installed the 6-6212 37” single stage snowblower on it. I believe after reading the I/O manual, I have it in the wrong PTO groove. Ran out the barn, stopped dead in my tracks in about 3 feet. No weight, no chains. Stuck a set of 4 links on and went playing for a bit! It was around 10 pm and windy, not opportune photo ops. I might see if there’s anything on the security camera…. I need to install the wings yet, and it has no rollers or skis so I held it up the whole time. It was still a ton of fun!

ohiofarmer 3,268 #223 Posted January 14, 2022 There is said to be a big storm trying to get organized out in the northwest. i will stay North and then drop South of Ohio only to come back with a big right hook. Too early to tell for us right now. We could be on the edge or maybe be in for it. It looks like some of the guys south in Kentucky or TN might get a good bit , but who knows?? rjg854 11,361 #225 Posted January 14, 2022 It may all be part of the same system coming through, not for sure but right now they're calling for 8-12" of snow, and bitter cold temps to start with. Everything is ready, blow tractor and plow tractor have been just sitting waiting for some action. I'll fire them up today, run around a little just to be sure. But as I always say, they call for this stuff, and many times it's kinda overblown, which I guess I can understand, it gets people's attention. I'm about ready for anything. I was never a boy scout, but I like to be on top of things.
