I thought about taking a couple of old 42-in plows or maybe a long thin propane tank cut in half or something like that. Form a V and leave it on the same tractor all the time. Where I think that might help me in my yard in particular is after it snows and I need to break out into the accumulation. Run a couple of paths with the V right out through the middle and then maybe use each side to push back a couple rows then switch to a straight plow for the rest.

When i was a kid townships had a couple big V plows... After one blizzard Buffalo sent a convoy of Walters Snowfighters V plows to the Albany area. Took forever to get there I think their top speed was about 40mph. It was impressive to watch them come up one road to a pile next the main road left by a blower and other plows. All you could see over the mound was the stack and she started blowing black smoke and then a crack appeared in the mound and the big V came through,.. Haven't seen one used in years. Townships around here that have them don't use them. Some are yard art for their equipment yard painted up with township name.. Not very efficient for plowing I guess but the were impressive... 1 1

I've seen them in the Walters brand, Oshkosh, and there's another one too. Maybe Husky? Or something like that. Several people up in this area have them for their own show purposes and bring them to places like Owls Head. I've only ever seen them in static displays like that. Not working. One of the fellows up at Owl's Head was telling me at some point or another that they were very popular in this area in particular for clearing airport runways. He either had one or had seen one with a clearing width well over 20 ft between three blades.

Not meant as a sexist remark- at least in intent. Most definitely not derogatory. Just noting that all are beautiful, and each has attributes that appeal to all of us, and in different ways per beholder. ...And I should have clarified that. All too often I may post something as if I was talking to myself. Not that I talk to myself or anything. ...and the self-dug hole continues to deepen. Never had a need in Florida for any v plows althought I think they made these for the Toro GMT’s which would probably also flow over into the groundsmasters. 3
