adsm08 2,068 #101 Posted November 19, 2021 I'm ready enough. Decks are away, plow and ST-326 blower are out, neighbor's big walk behind is ready, my little one is actually up for sale. I still need to get tires chained, and I'd like to get a second chain for the blower. I should probably replace the belt too, but I don't know how much use it will see this year.

Pullstart 62,905 #104 Posted November 30, 2021 Got out in the shop last night to finish my rearend job on the winter beater, only to open the door to about 4+” of heavy snow! After a mile test drive, I promptly hooked up the plow. Ready!

lynnmor 7,308 #107 Posted December 1, 2021 Can't do winter till the mowing and leaf duties are complete. Here is the latest pile to push in the burn pit and promote global warming: 5 1
Handy Don 12,235 #108 Posted December 1, 2021 Last of the leave mulching yesterday so I was able to squeeze in putting the mowers away today. Washed, lubed, and drained (didn't have time to sharpen them so that'll be in the spring). Same for the pressure washer plus RV Antifreeze in its pump. Brought out the blower, checked it out and good to go. 5
pfrederi 17,741 #109 Posted December 1, 2021 Put more weight on the stern of my blower tractor. 135 lbs plus her wheel weights. Really need a lot of weight when you raise the blower... backing up is challenging ... I do not see how the 2 stage blower guys do it. Also put some more weight on my low impact plow tractor. 65lbs (rubber chains and plastic plow edge) 5

I thought I saw a post that had its shipping weight at 130 lbs. Of course a full bucket of an FEL would put more weight out front but distributed across a sub-frame.

No apologies needed Sir. 😃 Nooo. I decided that particular tractor is best as a parts machine. Here's the last post of that thread. The C160 mentioned in that post is being prepped for the winter worker as time allows. That'll be VERY heavily weighted and carrying a 60" plow.
