That is one sweet snow machine Tony.

To be correct, the side extension wings should be turned over.    That small leading edge will then cut into the snow and the larger angled plate will push the snow into the auger.

HI Ed....these need flipped?IMG_6257.jpg.951eb5bde66328e748c213cd68c3a8a2.jpg

That leading edge goes straight ahead and cuts into the snow.

Did you get chains or wheel weights?

Yep, so they look like Jeff's picture.             I would assemble the bolts as in your picture though, with the round head bolts inside the blower.

I knew I would get called on that!

But I like the look like that better and I can't see where it makes a difference?

The difference being it'll stop the snow from going into the blower. :teasing-neener:

Yeah, according to my calcs. the additional friction will only result in a 2.637 % loss in the efficiency  of the blower.

Buttt,  the low pressure area created by the obstruction  will result in a cavitation zone downstream of the bolt heads when blowing wet sloppy snow.    The resulting pitting from the cavitation will eat holes thru the wings in 5.879 hours.       I recommend overlaying that area with  Stellite 6 tig rod ASAP.

Yes I have some weights for the wheels if needed and the tires are filled with washer fluid.  :)
