Bens vintage tractors 1,553 #1 Posted November 8, 2021 Figured I’d make a thread and show how to do a predator 212 / Honda gx200 repower. I will be putting this engine on my super sentimental 854. I hate to see the 854 sit for another year. I’m a huge fan of the Honda motors after installing one in my 656 many years ago. For me it was a trial and error install but once the bugs were worked out it was sweet! This thread should be in either the Restorations, Modifications & Customization category or the Engines category. It is both custom work and engine work. Either category works to be honest. I suggest that you get all of your ducks in a row with pictures and videos and then do the thread in one post and then let the peanut gallery join in. Both ways have their advantages and dis-advantages. I have done it both ways. If you are looking for ideas as you go, #2 is best. If you know what you want to do, and just share your knowledge, #1 is best.
