ronhatch 406 #1 Posted November 7, 2021 (edited) I just installed my snow plow, cable chains and rear weight on my 867. Bring on the snow so I can have some fun. Some may notice I replaced the bellcrank and rods that release the angle lock with a simple cable. I also move the blade trip spring lower anchor point forward about an 1" so the springs have less leverage which allows the blade to trip easier. Several winters ago I hit a cement expansion joint in my neighbor's drive the wrong way and I just was about thrown over the steering wheel before the blade tripped. PS: I plow fast; in 3rd gear at 3/4 throttle plus I have a little larger then stock pulley on the engine crank. How many picked up on the 4" extended frame? My new cable chains. And finally the 55 lb. rear weight. I normally put 2 blocks on the rear for a total of a110 lbs., but this year I'm older and just got plain lazy. stevasaurus 22,711 #2 Posted November 7, 2021 We live to close for me to say, "I hope you get all the snow you want." BTW, I am ready for it also. Nice looking horse Ron. 2

Pullstart 62,809 #4 Posted November 7, 2021 I ran cable chains similar on my plow trucks when needed. They rock!

There are no pictures showing up on my phone. Do you have any that you can share along with any specific information needed to know to do the changeover?
