HorseFixer 2,012 #27 Posted June 22, 2009 Hey Duke, My old boss has a friend in North Manchester (hope I get this story right) he went around to police stations and collected up Tommy guns and were traded out for machine guns...!?!? Did the swat maybe use them? Hope that makes sense. This same guy also builds one off custom rifles for hunting. Ya I'd like to see one, that would be cool. Thanks, Gene Gene I always thought a Tommy Gun was a Machine Gun anyways no one has tampered with either one we have, and we have both styles of magazines the fixed clip style and the rotating magazine style. These guns are not fired that often and only for interviews and special occasions. The have won 1st place awards at the national Thompson center banquet. Anyways these things are about priceless due to the history involved. The FBI tried to get them from us but the Sheriff at the time told them to P*ss up a rope that they were our evidence and that was the end of that! Anyway you ever make it up my way and I have an advance notice I can set up a picture session. BUT my story may be scuwed a little since I have been hungover since then!!! My work takes me from south bend to indianaplos hopefully we can chat sometime...
