Raider12 13 #1 Posted June 20, 2009 In the past I have seen several postings asking the best way to remove the pain in butt hubs from the axles on our Wheel Horses. Here is a picture (I hope) of the puller I made several years ago to do this job. I used the screw from a Mac harmonic balance puller as the driver and custom made the rest out a nice piece of scrap. pfrederi 17,866 #5 Posted June 21, 2009 Nice idea I can't weld so I made a puller from an old hub with bad keyways, a one inch bolt I had and some long 3/8" bolts. I suppose I could have used some 7/16 NF bolts to tread right in to the hub to be pulled but, A: (didn't have any) and B: if the hub to be pulled has bad threads...
