Jim Turner 42 #1 Posted November 2, 2021 Curious if anyone has a 32" snow thrower that will fit an 867 located near Lafayette IN? I was looking on youtube for 32" snow throwers in operation. I only found Lane Rangers video. Assuming his lawn ranger still has the 5 HP on it. It does a pretty good job. Thinking an 8 HP may throw it even further if i applied the right size pulley. ri702bill 8,294 #3 Posted November 2, 2021 Jim: I picked up a NOS never used 32 inch for my 854 a couple of years ago- works well - used it last winter - BUT... It is a 1963 model - before I used it I added a second fixed idler sprocket and a longer chain to give more wrap on the welded-on auger sprocket (original had only 3 to 4 teeth of engagement and would wear excessively) Also replaces the non floating pulley shaft bearings with new 3 piece floating bearings 9 the sheet metal housing flexes a bit in use.
