Appears to be an early one. AC series perhaps?

I believe you are correct. The original “ bulldog”.

That's the truck the British gave the name....

A high point of respect.

Later marketing produced the hood ornament.

I have the original patent copy picture on my arm.

I really need an insert for that grille but nothing has popped up yet.

Flat bar louvers? Hz or vertical?

Round bar?

The grill off an old hood like a C series or other tractor hood? Was there a hood from the fender donor tractor?

Steal the grille from the O'Lady's car?

Maybe search images of old truck grilles for some inspiration

Or stair at the parts pile until something pops! LoL

Looking at it, an old WH round hood would be perfect with the round front window base…

Probably flat bars of some sort. Vertical.

The hood that was with those fenders isn't really a good donor for the insert.

As far as the the o'ladys car grille.....welll......I kinda like her better when she's not ticked off lol. They ye ole parts pile is dwindling down.

I'd have a hard time getting a good cut while my left hand was hitting the grinder out of my right hand.

Absolutely.

One of the few that have stood the test of time in the trucking world.

For sure. I also like KW and Peterbilt which  have origins in severe duty applications. A lot of people think of the large cars they see on the interstates but both weren’t always so pretty in the very beginning.

Round is a must. I ordered these. The size seemed about correct and they have hi/low beam. I hope they are bright enough. If not maybe an LED light bar over the windshield in place of the stock visor.

Fender brackets are made. They just  need alittle gusset up at the fenders. Those may be integrated into the light mounting bar connecting the fenders once the lights arrive

With the fenders almost all welded I figure it was time to start on the hood.

The headlights should be here the first of the week. So by then I'm thinking the front should get finished.

Hey guys I have been given a box of these flap wheels.
      5.25" x 1.5" with a 1" arbor hole.
I instantly thought great I can put one on my bench grinder.
      Nope!    Not that simple.
The arbor size is different, and it's to wide to fit inside the the guard.
I thought of removing the guard but would like to have it there.
I guess I could make an arbor adapter and a spacer for the guard, and a new tool rest, etc. More time involved then first thought.

Does anyone use these, and if so what do you have it on?

Hello fellas. I bought this 211-3 tractor. I have no clue how this mower deck comes off. I need to fix some areas on the deck, as well as replace a clutch cable. I can't seem to find pictures of a complete deck for this model as it should be. Need help.

Let's see your view from your workplace "window". I know some are driving truck,or tractor, work in shops/offices or outdoors. What is it that surrounds you during your work day?

I started a thread a little while back "Something from Nothing". It has been upgraded to this thread because now I'm building something from something lol. I started with a new frame and strengthened the transaxle mount a bit.
