It does look more truck the way you did it than the full grille and a hot rod look

Whatchya got in mind for engine and trans?

Well it is going to be a camp buggy/ yard truck so I figured a more utilitarian look would be better. I winch may come in handy. Once or twice.

At the moment I'm thinking of using a Pro Series 14hp Kohler, the trans might possibly be an automotive 5 speed. Engine in front with dual v-belt clutch.

I'm open to any suggestions.

@Handy Don threw me some good options as well.

I'm trying to use mostly stuff I have here on hand.

That's the best way IMO and that typically dictates the direction and look of a build. Otherwise it be easier to just go out and buy something. Once you get all those parts from the pile on wheels it's easier to move them around LoL

I did some digging around and came up with a cool old locking gas cap.

I think it will make a nice faux radiator cap.

Not the direction you are going but I had a cart I sold to a friend. It was stock when I sold it to him. Next time I went to visit him, this was in his yard. :laughing-rolling:  All built with stuff laying around. I really like where yours is going. Going to be nice. :handgestures-thumbupright:

He also built a yamaha cart like you have but when he was done, there wasn’t much yamaha left. It had a Honda CBR1100 engine, mini sprint rear axle, dirt track tires and a arm front suspension with full cage. Have to find a picture. He took it to the track and drag raced it. :handgestures-thumbupright:

The body work begins on the cowl today. A bunch of patching to do.

Finally sneaking in a bit of welding.

It's going a bit slow.

I'm hoping once the patching is done the fab work will go a bit quicker

A bunch of odd hrs here and there and alot of cut, grind, tack, tack repeat. It still looks alot like the previous picture.

Taking a break from that.

I decided to go ahead and lengthen the frame 22" to its final wheelbase of 92".

You would think so....With the front lengthened 8.5in, the middle 22in, and behind the rear axle lengthened 10 more inches.

Gotta have plenty of leg room and also  in hopes of a 4ft long rear bed with wooden side boards.

Yes I was thinking possibly.

I picked up an electric/ hydraulic   motor/pump combo minus controller awhile back and I have 2or3 pistons to pick from and various hoses.

Although I'm not sure if it's needed.

It may be better used on a dual axle dump cart.?

I agree with that in principle... Though... why not have TWO dumping carriers??

Hello fellas. I bought this 211-3 tractor. I have no clue how this mower deck comes off. I need to fix some areas on the deck, as well as replace a clutch cable. I can't seem to find pictures of a complete deck for this model as it should be. Need help.

Let's see your view from your workplace "window". I know some are driving truck,or tractor, work in shops/offices or outdoors. What is it that surrounds you during your work day?

I started a thread a little while back "Something from Nothing". It has been upgraded to this thread because now I'm building something from something lol. I started with a new frame and strengthened the transaxle mount a bit.

I've wanted to do this type of project for a while now. So here we go. The name was given by @wallfish. It will be called "The Yeti".  It will be painted and badged in a military theme. The front axle is in progress now.
