Shynon 7,461 #1 Posted October 31, 2021 Just brought home a nice Millrite knee mill I bought from an older machinist friend who is down sizing. 11 3
ri702bill 8,515 #2 Posted October 31, 2021 Nice!! Looks kind of like a 5/6th scale Bridgeport J head. Power quill feed?? The table looks nice for its age - no oops drill or cutter marks. Seems to be a great basic machine - plan on adding an X axis power feed and a 3 axis DRO? Looks right at home in the corner. Bill
pacer 3,174 #3 Posted October 31, 2021 Boyoboy, thats a sweetie!! the condition!!!! wow , looks like a new one, that table ...... yummie! lynnmor 7,355 #5 Posted November 1, 2021 Millrite had a lube system that used a push type grease gun, be sure that you have a way to grease all the ways and screws.
peter lena 8,752 #6 Posted November 1, 2021 @Shynon agree with @lynnmor on the lubrication issue, use the good stuff , rated for temp and range, just finding something from back in the day is amazing , designed for no failures , good save , pete
