Field Mushrooms bring back memory

I have been seeing more and more of these field mushrooms. A memory of when I was a kid, my dad would hand us a paper sack and off to a local milk farm pasture for picking. 

One memory was the button ones went into a buttery, creamy style soup. 

Larger ones were cut up and fried for a side dish at dinner. 

My mom just about cooked everything we hunted.
