Can anyone identify what model WH tractors this exhaust muffler would go onto? It is close to what would be on C175 but top neck has a curve..... the C175 Kohler 17 twin is straight at the top connection? Any help ? thanks

My raider as one similair on the M12.

Don't know if a M16 has a bigger exhaust but looks in size to be like an M16 exaustDSC_0364.JPG.bdc07d55125b61ba78dfc37a52a6377c.JPG

That look like the factory Nelson muffler on my 1974 C160. The 8 hp is smaller in diameter.

Bent to fit the angled exhaust port on big blocks...K181 needs more bends at eh top as exhaust port is at right angle to the engine.

With that extra bend and larger can, I think it's a C-125,145 muffler.

C160 Muffler looks like this:16356976493004484899501064520301.jpg.1eb2a4b095d6cec4d1bbec94ebc904c7.jpg

Look at this pic of the C-145 I had. You can see how "forward " the muffler is and can see the bigger can.

Notice the little mounting tab at the bottom.

That is for attaching the bottom to the shaker cradle of a 1978 and later C-series so the muffler wouldn't shake loose. All replacement mufflers made after 1978 had the tab, even for the non-shaker models.

That’s certainly an interesting looking wheel horse. 🤔

Yes it is for a big block K with the shaker cradle thus the bolt tab, but it will work with the earlier BB K's with a little tweaking :handgestures-thumbupright:

I just brought home a 1980 C-125 today and when I saw the muffler I knew what yours was from!

If you don't want it...

Tuneup

A rusty one will go for $100. I know because I bought one (easily sanded and treated. So quiet on my C-125. The remakes are louder.
