JCM 9,191 #51 Posted November 1, 2021 I myself have been waiting patiently for you to take ownership of a 420 for years. Not knowing you personally but all of your equipment and vehicles are top notch. I don't think I have seen one that clean and shiny, great job on the detail. I wish you luck with your new piece of WH history. I hope you will consider a trip to the 2022 Meet & Greet in N.Berwick Maine so we may all drool over it. A few questions if you don't mind. Did you get a 48'' SD deck with matching wheels ? Also all the other associated items, cover, key tag, leather pouch etc etc. ENJOY it and don't forget to drive it once and a while
Brockport Bill 1,668 #52 Posted November 1, 2021 34 minutes ago, c-series don said: I purchased my lift table from Harbor Freight, it’s a motorcycle lift table that I made a wider top for out of two sheets of 3/4” plywood. I cut it down to something like 42”X72” then banded it with poplar to hide and protect the end grain of the plywood. Funny thing was when I went to purchase the plywood 3/4” CDX was $82.00 a sheet, I was shocked!! I then turned around in the same isle and saw 3/4” furniture grade oak plywood for $60.00. One sheet was slightly damaged in the corner so I got it for $50.00! I painted it and got a nice big Wheel Horse decal for the center. Still have to make a proper ramp to get the tractor on and off the table. Oh and had to extend the foot pedal because of the wider top by simply welding a piece of 4”x 3/4” box tubing to it. great info -- thanks -- i noticed the top so thats why i wondered if it was custom? I have seen You Tubes of WH tractor useage that are actually mcy lifts but those lifts had wing accessories to widen - good to know you simply did a custom widening -- I'll check out the HF site for info

c-series don 8,728 #55 Posted November 2, 2021 @JCM Thank you for your kind words, as far as the blade deck goes no I didn’t get one with it. However I did get everything else, the cover, key tag, leather pouch and all the paper work that could possibly come with it, even the original hang tags. I’d love to come up to Maine next year, might have to bring these three along with the LSE! 3

I’m blessed to have the proper place to keep her where she’ll remain in her pristine state. I’m not in this to make money with this purchase, on the contrary I had to scramble money for months to make this happen. I’m just unbelievably happy that I actually own this beautiful piece of Wheel Horse history and God willing I’ll be able to bring it to the big show in June. I truly look forward to seeing so many of you guys . 3 2
