Some excellent answers here folks. Just excellent. Thank you. That's why I posted this.

This will be predominantly in my 1986 Ford f250 so configuration shouldn't be an issue. I intend to keep it behind the seat but I'm fairly sure there's enough room below the seats to store something decent like a side of beef or maybe a Volkswagen beetle.

Craig old buddy I don't know if I can find enough tools to reach that limit...

Along with most of what was mentioned, I keep the tools to repair a tube less flat tire.  I also keep a good punch and a boat trailer bearing or two (greased) incase I have to replace a bad wheel bearing.  Black electrical tape.  :eusa-think:

I also tote a 1/2" breaker bar with a 2' pipe extension and a deep well 6 point socket to fit every lug nut on all the vehichles and trailers.

A card with the number for AAA on it.  There is not much you can fix by the side of the road on a new car unless you have code reader and a service manual...

Absolutely agreed. On my new car I have roadside coverage.

The tool kit would be for my 1986 F-250 and / or tractors while I was at events or looking at purchases.

Let's see where do I begin...it would take me hours to type...my road toolbox is probably a little too comprehensive for ya :lol:Screenshot_20211028-185501_Facebook.jpg.a5dd2dd04ec5f581a773d07d96ec4a23.jpg

All jokes aside though, in the other truck I carry a few of the common size wrenches and sockets that I use regularly, couple of ratchets, jumper cables, wire brush, pliers, couple screwdrivers, tire plug kit, small floor jack, assorted fuses and wire terminals, and the two most important tools in every vehicle I own are of course duct tape and baling wire:lol:

WHX??

All joking not aside I have a few condoms in my kit. They come in handy for protecting trailer flat fours from corrosion. Put some dielectric grease in them and roll them on.....what they don't salt roads where you :occasion-clown: are at?!?!
