Pullstart 62,906 #2 Posted October 27, 2021 Awesome! If I may make a suggestion… start just one thread on this tractor, it deserves it. I’m looking forward to more progress on your green machine!
Retired Wrencher 5,465 #3 Posted October 27, 2021 engineguy63 Looking good. Should be a great winter project for you. I live about 20 minutes away from you. What is your name if I may ask.
peter lena 8,634 #4 Posted October 27, 2021 @engineguy63 want to save that patina ? aerosol wd 40 or marvel mystery oil on a clean cloth rub down till dry , how tough was that ? anything i pick up , that is usually starved with neglect , gets a spray down , amazing how it almost turns into a wax job result with water beading all over it . oil will stop the rust and retain what you have . pete

Snoopy11 5,714 #9 Posted November 2, 2021 So... do you do a clear coat over that... or just keep some type of oil on it? Don
engineguy63 238 #10 Posted November 3, 2021 Not going to coat it over, just leave it how it is. Ill keep it dry so should not rust anymore....its pretty solid. The wheels were painted with badly pealing painr so there cleaned up and painted flat black ( kind of a hot rod look) LOL
