Noob to the Wheelhorse world

I always saw wheelhorses at all the tractor shows I would go to but never understood the fascination.  Then I did some research on what they were capable of doing.  I am looking to find one that I can use for a snow plow and also attach a box grader preferably with a 3pt hitch.  What models have or can accept a 3pt hitch?  Thanks for any info I can get.

Only a D series or a C-195 will have a three point hitch, and not all of them came with it. I believe it was optional. Welcome to Red Square, where you’ll meet the nicest people.

IIRC, super C-195's had had a 3pt as an option.

some people do make 3 point hitches on other Wheel Horses.

I think every Wheel Horse accepts a snow plow

All these machines are relatively easy to modify and build the way you want to, and tough enough to take it!

 

My Bronco 14 has been modified to have a functional 3-point. It is a Beast! No rear PTO though... Yet.

As already mentioned the "D" family and the C195 were offered the 3 point & PTO as an accessory (I'm not to up on the 195) But on the 'Big D's' it was definitely an option. I have 4 of them and 2 have it and 2 dont! The PTO was also an option, but (in my opinion) there isnt very much that will work/fit them. The category 0 three point and the 2000 rpm on the PTO really limits what is available.

 

But, the 3 point has to be one of the handiest accessories on a tractor! I'm always finding some new/different situation where it saves the day.

You might be better off skipping the 3 PH idea and use something like this: Scraper

 

There are hitches and lift kits available for most models of WH tractors for the light duty implements.

If you want a grader box... you could buy any Wheel Horse, and buy a sleeve hitch from Lowell at Wheel Horse Parts and More. This would allow you to buy an agri-fab box scraper...

With all the available attachments for the general public of Wheel Horse, you might find that a 3 point isn’t all that necessary either.

I Have quickly found that out.  I don't think that I  would a mint condition tractor.  Just mechanically sound and decent body.

The GT-14, C-195 and D Series are all heavy duty garden tractors with a three point category 0 three point hitch as an option. A snow plow can work on any  model and the mid mount grader blade will do a great job on a gravel driveway.

@Heffe34 All of the Wheelhorse can have a slot hitch or a Sleeve Hitch on the rear.  A Sleeve Hitch works well and there are more attachments for it that a Cat O 3 point hitch.  I have a Sears Sleeve Hitch rear blade and a Brinly Sleeve Hitch Box Blade. I find the Brinly box blade works better.  For final grading I have a Center Mount Grader Blade. Its a blast to use and I go out of my way to blade neighbors drives when I have it on, just to get more seat time with it.  I have also moved a lot of dirt with a front dozer blade.  Rear weights, chains or AG tires sure help with traction when moving dirt.
