Stormin 9,981 #1 Posted October 23, 2021 (edited) Today while looking at a couple of Wheel Horses, this 1954 German Eicher was there. All original and full patina. My mate Dunc has now got first dibs on it, when the owner finally decides to sell. Single cylinder long stroke air cooled diesel. Behind the air filter is a cooling fan driven by the centre pulley. Fired up straight away and sounded like sweet music to my ears. I'll put a couple of videos later. Unfortunately the WH's were to far gone for us. But we didn't come away empty handed. Dunc bought this handy trailer. Towing out with the Eitcher. Edited October 24, 2021 by Stormin 4 1
Stormin 9,981 #2 Posted October 23, 2021 Couple of vid's of the running engine. Couldn't manage to rotate them so you'll just have to lie down. P1040002.MP4 P1040001.MP4
squonk 41,051 #3 Posted October 23, 2021 Love it nORM. Next time you take a video, you lie down and make it easier for those of us who can't get back up!
Stormin 9,981 #4 Posted October 23, 2021 I held the camera at 45 degrees to get the height of the engine. Rotating works with a photo' but it seems not with a vid'.
