@Joe M yes nice looking rig , just a thorough verification of all functions , and maybe a wd 40 or  mmo , rub down would bring out the paint and stop surface rust . found that oil baseline clean up , makes a polish or wax  really makes it easy . pete

 Good advice to preserve original paint.  I first clean compound and access paint before putting any oil or wax on.  Be sure you don't want to do paint work before putting tough to paint over stuff on.   Maybe because I have been in auto body repair since 1974 and tend to want cosmetics nice and shiny.
