8ntruck 6,991 #3 Posted October 20, 2021 Kind of looks like an idler pulley for something. Might be for a tiller or a rear PTO?

peter lena 8,588 #7 Posted October 20, 2021 @squonk , notice the glairing typical "tiny bearing " in that pulley ? for me that is an opportunity to , swap that at a bearing distributor , with a same size / type v belt pulley , with a much larger bearing , with wide rubber side shields , that can easily be removed , bearing cleaned out and hi temp , polyurea , anti sling grease reinstalled . all of the opportunities to do this are taken on my stuff , imagine , no bearing whine or hi pitched noise , just prior to failure . just my own experience , pete

JoeM 7,871 #9 Posted October 20, 2021 That is a very rare J bracket, manufactured to the highest quality, as when applied......will devert and exert a pressure of tension in a direction necessitated in a v-belt applications.
