Pullstart

:text-welcomeconfetti:  the B-111 is more of a lawn tractor than a garden tractor, but it’s got good bones!

You’ll want to find a vertical shaft engine, like a Briggs and Stratton or otherwise.  @Tractorhead might know of a suitable replacement in Europe, he put a larger engine in a vertical shaft machine in Germany :handgestures-thumbupright:

@Maxwell-8 before I get lost here since I don’t speak French it looks to me as if you’re asking if @Erby lives in France, correct? B-111 is, like any WH, a solid machine…I kinda want one myself.

Yep, where he lives in France.

I do believe a B-111 6speed is chain driven, which I have had a love-hate relationship with.

Oohh chain driven. I didn’t know that. I can already see some pros and cons about that.

It is not a chain drive...belt driven.  The BF in the model number stands for "B" Briggs & Stratton...the "F" stands for Foote transmission.  They do not make Foote transmissions any more, but I have one in the garage.  It does have a bad gear in it, and I was going to take it apart and see what makes it tick.  Hopefully yours is OK...I may have parts if you need them.  :occasion-xmas:
