I don't need to go out 4 inches... just a little clearance between the box frame at the rear wheels... And, I would say... I do not think it will be something that will stay on there all year... Don Having been around heavy trucks my entire 5 decades and been operating them for nearly two of those, I assure you that lug nuts DO come loose. When I swap wheels and tires around on any of our tractors I go back and tighten the lug nuts again after an hour or two of usage. I almost always get at least one or two of the lug nuts to move a little. With a three-hole hub like that I'd be wanting to check those a LOT. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

What size are your rear tires? I'd be willing to bet you can get a set of hubs, 5 lug rear wheels in the correct size from someplace like e-trailer, and the spacers and not even be that far off of that $200 figure... If that has a regular keyway in the hub like any of the larger five lug cousins do then you could use a set of HD hubs from a 310-8. With the 1 inch spacer, I don't need new studs, whereas with a 2 inch spacer, I would need new studs to bolt the wheels onto. What are your thoughts on that... EB?
