I drove further and paid more than I've bought in better condition and a lot closer. But this is first I've seen for sale within a days drive. Had to have it! And I did something I would never recommend, I bought it without it running. So while I have a real good feeling for the seller I don't actually know what works... But, I'm pretty sure she'll all work but it will be a while before I have time to confirm. Model plate was not much help but I gather it is NOT an 84 since the hydro controls are placed like the 82-83 years but I have no idea which of those two years. Wish it had less rust but there's nothing here I can't fix with some time. If the hood is not a C-195 only then I'd swap hoods. Very pleased to have one but I can't explain why. I have NO interest in using it as a mower but if I had a 60" deck I might. I have NO rear pto driven attachments that fit it and while I have lots of clevis attachments I have NO CAT 0 implements to fit it! Not sure what all attachments there was but I've seen pics of a rear finish mower and a pretty big tiller. Wouldn't mind having a small brush cutter if they made one or if I could mod something. The larger tiller is interesting but I already have a WH rear tiller, a front and rear walk behind and 3-4 little ones. I suppose the 54" dozer blade would be nice. I'd love a mid-mount grader blade! I've read that some D model attachments can work but finding the C-195 was tough enough, I NEVER see any D stuff around here. 6 13 5 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I really wish is wasn't cracked but nothing is missing and I know I can line the cracks up and apply a patch on the back. I have a little experience welding plastic but I don't know if I'd bother. I had all the same feelings you did when I bought my 195, didn't know what I would use it for, but dammit all if I didn't want one. I was lucky enough to find one in Indiana that a contact of mine picked up for me, and brought it as far as PA where I met him and lugged it the rest of the way to CT. It may not seem like there are many attachments or things to do with it yet, but give it some time, and keep an open mind and see what's out there. I was lucky to find a CAT 0 plow and harrow on FB marketplace, and I've made a handful of my own things. One of my favorites is a winch that is mounted to a 2" receiver, I've use it to pull out saplings, and it would come in great if I had a tractor stuck. I've been lucky to find some good deals and at the right times, but I have amassed all of these attachments since I got the C-195 at the tail end of 2019 and haven't spent a whole lot to do so. It's a great tractor that can do a lot, you'll enjoy it more than you know. Bringing it home from PA. Got a CAT 0 to 2 inch receiver attachment, and that has opened up so many opportunities to use this tractor. In the back this shows it with a salt spreader, which I have yet to get working, but am working on. My homemade winch attachment that hooks into the 2" reciever Plow and Harrow There is a special lift rod you will need, and you need a longer drive belt, but with these two things standard WH snowblowers will mount right up, and that KT19 can throw some snow. That rusty chunk of metal on the hood is one of the most important pieces of it. That's the guide pulley setup for the belt to rear pto. Fender is available as reproduction, so no worries. Hood is same as any black hood. and you have the correct seat for it. It will take a 60" deck from a 520, and that's a nice setup. Don't go for the old style that came with it. The newer type is far better. For grader blade, you have to rig up a mount yourself then, as the frame is longer, and the rear pto pully bracketry is in the way. I have drawings of one setup somewhere here. D 160-200 tiller and rear finish mower will go on it. The big tiller is awesome. Rear finish mower (made by woods) could go as a brush hog i guess? A few other manufacturers had 2000rpm implements, so that could be a source for implements for you.
