@ DENNIS  THORNTON , that this is so far removed form the norm with that 3 point and pto , would just concentrate on verifying your operational functions , and franken horse it , you have to replace the plastic rear fender anyway , with steel , would just oil down the rust to stop it and preserve what you have . mixing baseline function with clean and shinny , is a tough go . wish you luck with it , its a rare set up , pete

Are those blizzak tires on the rear?  You can stud them for winter use!

Nice score I suspect a C-195 is on most of our list. A few month ago I pasted on one that was about an 14 hour round trip. Only one I’ve seen for sale down here. Had a cobbled up replacement short shaft Kohler twin so no PTO option

I can't see where any chunks are missing. I think the cracks could be repaired.

I really wish is wasn't cracked but nothing is missing and I know I can line the cracks up and apply a patch on the back.  I have a little experience welding plastic but I don't know if I'd bother.  Certainly other things on it will get fixed first.

Very pleased to have one but I can't explain why.

Dennis, you don't have to justify having scored a bucket list tractor.  If you come to your senses and realize you don't want it after-all I'm sure there will be no shortage of interested future owners           :hide:       myself included.

The only reason I don't have one is they are usually too far away.

@ Dennis  Thornton , still have the plastic fender off my 82 c-85 , bought  new in 82 , to me it just does not have the look of the steel fender set up , good shape hanging in the shed , like the steel , for durability and its still horse , just me , pete

I was all over it from the moment I found the ad!  I did pay more and drive more than normal but no regrets!  Just too hard to find around here with both pto AND 3 point.  I'm happy with it and I think no matter what it needs it's worth it.  Wish I had more time...  Thanks for your comments!

Congrats, and welcome to the Super C Club @DennisThornton!  I had all the same feelings you did when I bought my 195, didn't know what I would use it for, but dammit all if I didn't want one.  I was lucky enough to find one in Indiana that a contact of mine picked up for me, and brought it as far as PA where I met him and lugged it the rest of the way to CT.  It may not seem like there are many attachments or things to do with it yet, but give it some time, and keep an open mind and see what's out there.  I was lucky to find a CAT 0 plow and harrow on FB marketplace, and I've made a handful of my own things.  One of my favorites is a winch that is mounted to a 2" receiver, I've use it to pull out saplings, and it would come in great if I had a tractor stuck. I've been lucky to find some good deals and at the right times, but I have amassed all of these attachments since I got the C-195 at the tail end of 2019 and haven't spent a whole lot to do so.  It's a great tractor that can do a lot, you'll enjoy it more than you know.

Bringing it home from PA.

Got a CAT 0 to 2 inch receiver attachment, and that has opened up so many opportunities to use this tractor.  In the back this shows it with a salt spreader, which I have yet to get working, but am working on.

There is a special lift rod you will need, and you need a longer drive belt, but with these two things standard WH snowblowers will mount right up, and that KT19 can throw some snow.

Moving firewood to the house is a lot easier with this 2" reciever rack designed for cars and trucks.

Congrats @DennisThornton Nice score! :D That's just one of the very best they ever made imo.

That rusty chunk of metal on the hood is one of the most important pieces of it. That's the guide pulley setup for the belt to rear pto.

Fender is available as reproduction, so no worries. Hood is same as any black hood. and you have the correct seat for it.

It will take a 60" deck from a 520, and that's a nice setup. Don't go for the old style that came with it. The newer type is far better.

For grader blade, you have to rig up a mount yourself then, as the frame is longer, and the rear pto pully bracketry is in the way. I have drawings of one setup somewhere here.

D 160-200 tiller and rear finish mower will go on it. The big tiller is awesome. Rear finish mower (made by woods) could go as a brush hog i guess?

A few other manufacturers had 2000rpm implements, so that could be a source for implements for you.

I got a few of these things here, and an assortment of attachments, so if you need any info, just shoot. :-)

"Congrats, and welcome to the Super C Club"

Thank you!  Been wanting to be a member for years!  I appreciate all you comments and pictures but deleted much for brevity and maybe easier following along for others.

But I'd like to highlight some.  Love the 2" receiver and I think that would be one of the first things I make for it.

I have a 4wd compact and lots of attachments so for heavy work I'm all set.  But there's times a smaller tractor is nice and now in addition to being able to work clevis attachments I can also handle Cat O 3-point if they come along.  Tips like this are MOST appreciated!  How to adapt what's out there instead of waiting for a hen's tooth to come a long!

I have two of those and I've intended to add a 2" receiver to some of my WHs to put them to good work.

And I love the winch setup!  I have a mod on an older Sears with a manual winch that has come in handy but I also have a 12v waiting for a good use.

Thanks again!

Thanks!  I'm pretty tickled about having one.

Right off I noticed the belts and got concerned but the PO brought out the pulley so I smiled.

I've read of new repro fiberglass fenders but I'll probably keep this one and fix it as best I can.

I've read that the 520 60" fits but I didn't know it was better than the org.  Thanks for that tip!  Probably easier to find the newer model too.

Nice to know that I shouldn't be looking for a mid mount grader blade.  Lots of metal and welding rods around here and I'd be happy to see your drawings!

Did read about the "D"s tiller and rear mower and I have read that the tiller is really good.  Heard the mower didn't give a great cut but I wouldn't care for brush use.

I've got to do more research on using the PTO.
