ebinmaine 67,310 #1 Posted October 10, 2021 I know it doesn't exactly meet the standard of "Horse hauler" but I'm pretty happy. This is the first time I've ever bought a new car ... For me. Had other new rides in past lives. This one's mine. Researched. Chosen. Found. Bought. 2022 Kia Soul XL. I bought a base model on purpose because the only options I even mildly desired were heated seats and mirrors which are part of a pricier model. I'll accessorize this one some. Stormin 9,981 #3 Posted October 10, 2021 I bought our Mazda 2 brand new 13 years ago. First new car I've ever bought. I paid for it, Carol drives it and it's still going strong. Though in the first year and a half of ownership, it did get smashed up twice. No fault of Carols either time. First time a woman hit the off side front wing. (That'll be the near side to you.) Towing capacity on this particular vehicle is kind of..... odd. If you buy this exact same car in most parts of Europe or Australia it's rated to tow 2400 lb, American with a properly braked trailer. Here in the United States of America litigation environment however, it isn't actually "rated" to tow anything... Kia as a corporation does not recommend towing in the USA. There are dealers around the country however that do state the same capacity as the other countries around the world... I won't buy a hitch for at least a couple months until after the recommended break-in. Is done. Before I do I need to do some legal research. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
