4 speed manual with a chrome shifter, vent windows and a rear sliding window. Just make sure there is nothing like money or paperwork on the seat when going down the road when you open all 3 up, the stuff flies right out the sliding window.      :ROTF:

Fully reclining front seats were my must have in my younger days. I'll let you imagine why. :D

Back up camera for old guys that have the non rotating neck.     A must for parking real trucks in tight parking spaces and for trailer hook up.

Back up camera, my truck doesn't have one but my son has one and it is a real nice feature.

:text-yeahthat:

Lived all through the clutch days and it was okay but now I just want to ride along. I know it is tough no to repair the new ones, but I don't want to go back to the good old days! Comfort, power, economy, and safety, much improvement over the years.

The best accessory that they could come up with is a devise to kill cell phones when the motor is running. Or the idiots that use them.

Electronic fuel injection. No more sticky chokes, rusted up heat risers, rotted warm air intakes.

As good a navigator as my spouse is, both she and I are quite happy to have Ms. Waze use up some of our cellular data to give us directions--especially in the metro area where avoiding a traffic tie-up can save an hour on a one hour drive. And finding a diner or coffee shop (or a BBQ joint) is quite helpful, too.

Plus, we both often use drive time to catch up with friends and acquaintances (I have a Bluetooth earpiece and ask Siri to make/answer calls or send/read back text messages).

If the phone could use its proximity sensor to detect that it was being hand held by the driver and THEN shut off for 5 minutes, that would be cool!

Instead of a heated Seat (what i also like) and heated Steering wheel ( i don’t need)

is a Parking Water Preheater... instead of a Air heater.

No scratching Icy Windscreen in Winter and a complete warm Car since start.

Installed in line with the heaterline you can also prewarm the Engine before drive.

That saves a lot of Fuel while prevents Cold Start on Engine, if it’s started about 30 min before driving.

A separate Battery (with a Charging line from the Engine‘s battery) for the preheater to be allway‘s able to start,

even if you forgot to shutdown the preheater’s Timer.

So you be allway’s able to heat the whole Car without a running Engine, even if you must wait a little longer.

That’s my preferred Must have gadgets.

Hands down:

A 2” receiver hitch.

The ultimate multi use tool.

I’ve wanted one of these for a long time but never made the effort to do anything about it.

I really miss my 8 track in my 60' Chevy.  Cranking "Night Moves" & "Ina-Goda-Da-Vida".  Had my home made speakers sitting on the back seat.  :banana-rock:   "Come on Baby, Light My Fire" because "The Time has Come Today."  "Don't You Want Somebody to Love??"

Neil Diamond in the 8 track that was mounted in a home built black fake leather console around the 4 speed. O and shag carpet on the 66 3/4 ton Ford truck ceiling. Speakers in the ceiling of course.
