smithka 7 #1 Posted October 4, 2021 Hi Folks, Picked up a '69 (I think) GT14 at the beginning of the summer. It was missing the linkage between the mid PTO and mower deck, so I've just been using some links of chain. Would like to get the proper part for when I put the snow blade on for the winter to allow for some downward pressure when needed. JimSraj 429 #8 Posted October 5, 2021 I had the same search earlier this summer. I think the lift rods may be different lengths for different models. I got 2, from different sources, and they are slightly different. BT W, The lift stud, that slides on the lift rod, for the GT 14 has a longer turned down end than for others models. I made one from a piece of 3/4” rod and had the 3/8” portion that goes through the pto lift turned to be 3/8”x7/8” long to allow it to go through the 1/2” thick pto lift and still have room for a washer and hole for the hairpin. I don’t know what the original specs are but it’s been working on the mowing deck. I did have to stack several washers on the bottom of the lift rod outside the lift arm on the deck to stop it shearing the hairpin. Hope this is useful.
