Ifixoldjunk 778 #1 Posted October 3, 2021 So I have a friend that swears that later model wheel horses 300s,400s and 500s were made of parts made in China. Did wheel horse ever use Chinese made parts? All the tags on my horses all say south bend USA.

Ifixoldjunk 778 #3 Posted October 3, 2021 @ebinmaine same here. Doesn’t change my opinion on them being some of the best made, but I’d like to know.🤔

c-series don 8,729 #5 Posted October 3, 2021 I don’t believe that’s true, but then again I was wrong once before. In the late 80’s I think it was 😂😜
SylvanLakeWH 25,605 #6 Posted October 3, 2021 No mention of it in "Straight front the Horse's Mouth" Final Edition. Covers WH up to 1985... If it occurred, I'm guessing while Toro was using the name after 1986...
953 nut 55,325 #7 Posted October 3, 2021 May as well face it, over the years any manufactured goods in any country have a mix of parts from all over the world. Many products require a US Content label that informs the buyer of the percentage of US Made components. Must U.S. content be disclosed on products sold in the U.S.? U.S. content must be disclosed on automobiles and textile, wool, and fur products. There’s no law that requires most other products sold in the U.S. to be marked or labeled Made in USA or have any other disclosure about their amount of U.S. content. However, manufacturers and marketers who choose to make claims about the amount of U.S. content in their products must comply with the FTC’s Made in USA policy Kohler moved much of their engine manufacturing to china starting in 1997. Also, I have found many OEM Kohler branded parts that were made in Mexico.
