That seat will look great on that grey Work Horse!

I went on a road trip to get it… did not know it was gray until I got there.

I was wanting black. It will work since the tractor is gray.

Got the new holes drilled, ground, hacked into the seat springs and did a test fit… then I went to sanding  the seat hardware. Found a crack in the seat bracket that will have to be welded…

Starting to mull over painting the seat pan, hood, side panels, and running boards.

I’m thinking I will do the seat pan first… that way I can still take it for a spin before the tractors done…

Anyways, look at the back edge of the seat pan. It has been bent a little. Would you guys fix this ? ( I know some of you will say yes ! ) The only way I know how is maybe lay it on a thick folded towel and wack it will a rubber mallet… but I am concerned with making another dent.

The dent is tiny might do more damage than good.

I'd at least flatten it out a little.

Massage carefully and slowly. Don't just smack the @#$&#@ it of it.

I’d use a solid backer - small 2x4 perhaps - and gently tap her back into shape…

You only learn when you try.  We need a better picture looking from the out side. Is it bent into the offset up about 3/4" or just the edge,

All the others have a 1/16" off set  up 3/4" don't know about a Work Horse.  My guess is they didn't change as it would have cost them more to change it.

The only thing that might concern me about trying to get that dent out is that when metal bends, it also STRETCHES.

You might find that when you try to take out the bend that you end up moving the dent to another area.

But I would try myself.  Tap a few times and evaluate.  Continue if successful, or stop and live with it if not.

Yeah… I GOTTA mess with it a little:lol:… but most likely will move the dent like you say. Not gonna get crazy with it…

It is actually dented up where the “Work Horse” label is… not too bad but it is there.

If you need help with it bring it up I have most of a old set of body tools, hammers and dolly's. Those areas need support on the other side when hammering them and they are not completely flat.

Kelvin's suppose to come over tomorrow afternoon some time around 5:00 we could have a mini get together. If you would like to come up let me know I'll PM you my address. .

Had my tires put on my rims… a little disturbed that they scratched my wheels a little… the man warned me that they may get scratched.

Oh well it’s a tractor, not a trailer queen…

Not gonna try to touch them up… that would probably look worse…

On the fronts… are those black plastic spindle caps supposed to just snap on the large washer, or slide down on the wheel hub a little ?

@kpinnc… I believe you suggested touching up the scratches ON MY FRESHLY POWDER COATED ! wheels and I looked online for for Testers model car paint.

I seen some enamel paint on there in the little bottles.

Would enamel be okay to touch up powder coated wheels ?

Also have you seen it at Walmart ?

POWDER COATED

I been wondering about this myownself.

Powder coating is basically melted to form the coating.

Can it be re-activated?

What if one were to sprinkle some powder into a scratch and somehow apply heat to fuse it to the existing?

Would this work?

I'd be prone to asking the powdercoaterizerer.

I like the idea.

@kpinnc… with model number 4120OE01, the seat pan you gave me appears to be off of a 520.
