squonk 41,150 #2 Posted October 3, 2021 I have the 12 ton bench top model. I like the ability to stick it on my lift table and roll it around or toss it into the pick up bed when I was working and bring it to the job site.
ZXT 2,401 #3 Posted October 3, 2021 Excellent! I have a 20 ton as well. It's paid for itself 10x over.
Maxwell-8 4,277 #4 Posted October 3, 2021 We made one ourself 20 years ago but some how sold it. Time we make one again, could have used it on those 3 WH trannys.
Digger 66 3,481 #5 Posted October 3, 2021 I got the same one (20T) about a year ago . My only complaint is the jack drooled fluid from day 1 . I took it in a week ago and the swapped it with one of their red 20 ton models . I have to fit new mounting holes but it seems like a better built jack than the original grey one . And it doesn't leak .

RandyLittrell 3,884 #7 Posted October 4, 2021 I have had one of those for years and while I don't use it very often, its damn handy when I do. I would like to make a metal brake to go in it. Randy

WHX?? 48,828 #16 Posted October 5, 2021 Gotta have the little knobby for the jack valve in Mike's pic EB. Very handy This is one of those tools that just sits there and looks good most of the time like Randy says but invaluable when you do need it.
sparkys toy 76 #17 Posted April 11, 2022 Bought the same press 30% off great deal love it the base was a pain to adjust the height so I made this mod and it made raising and lowering it very easy 25 dollar boat winch from you guessed it HF 30% off 1
WHX?? 48,828 #18 Posted April 11, 2022 Nice ... I have a boat winch with nothing to do I should use it. What do you guys have for rollers on the corners or does the cable just ride on the bolts? @prondzy

sparkys toy 76 #20 Posted April 14, 2022 I was lazy at the time and just used a copper sleeve on the bolts but the pulleys look like the way to go if you're going to change the height often
Thor27 769 #21 Posted April 15, 2022 HF also sells an air over hydraulic jack for those, I have shot more exploded stuff across my shop than I care to admit since.

We had this big press one place I worked at. It had to be at least 100 tons. Guy was changing some u joints from an S-10 drive shaft. When the hammer and vise method didn't work he went to the press. All of a sudden BANG!!! Parts of that drive shaft skidded across the floor and under the bench where I was standing. He forgot to melt the nylon u joint retainers from the yoke!
