cafoose 3,354 #1 Posted October 2, 2021 I just got my forks on my GT-14 FEL I got from @fast88pu @roadapples I found ACE hardware in Dover had lots of Regal Red so I picked up 4 cans and painted them I have lots of steel such as 4 or 5 old disk brake rotors, an old heavy flywheel off of a standard shift car, and some heavy steel cut off my fork attachment to make it fit my GT-14. I still can't pick up more than 3 or 4 empty skids without the rear tires starting to lift I guess I need more weight 7
Pullstart 62,807 #2 Posted October 2, 2021 Those are some massive forks! I’d imagine you’re lifting a couple hundred pounds empty?
Maxwell-8 4,275 #3 Posted October 2, 2021 No more diets for you then haha Are the tires Fluid filled? maybe try some wheel weigths.

Never had the chance to weigh them but the guy that fabricated them for me said they're not much heavier than the bucket I think maybe they are I do have inside rear weights but not sure if @fast88pu filled the tires or not. I need to add weight somehow. The hydraulics seem to be able to handle it though.

I'm about average normal weight for my size 165 lbs. If I did diet and turned sideways and stuck out my tongue I'd be a zipper

I was thinking the same exact thing when I had a load on it and tried to steer If anyone has any ideas how to put power steering on a GT-14 I'd love to hear about it
