grinchsr 626 #1 Posted October 1, 2021 (edited) I have a model 79301 rear bagger with a noisy blower shaft bearing. Has anyone sourced the bearings on that shaft from any where other than Toro who wants around $60. Toro #251-288 Edited October 1, 2021 by grinchsr
peter lena 8,588 #2 Posted October 1, 2021 @grinchsr , visible # on that bearing ? internet source that , if you get a chance to get a bearing with wide rubber side seals , you could easily convert it over to better hi temp grease , no noise or failures . done that to all my bearing replacements . pete
grinchsr 626 #3 Posted October 1, 2021 Hi Pete No visible number on that bearing at least not on the outside. I will have to rip into it tomorrow. I was trying to get the bearings here before I broke it down. I too have saved some bearings with rubber seals with the grease needle thing. These bearings are sealed, Now I have some thing to do tomorrow besides cut my lawn.
