rjg854 11,351 #1 Posted September 29, 2021 Should be easy to figure out where the little lady and I were last week. Went to spend some time with our son where he lives. 4 4

953 nut 55,108 #5 Posted September 30, 2021 I'm glad you are adjusting well to retirement Randy. During my lifetime there have been a lot of job changes but the best vocational choice I ever made was retirement.
rjg854 11,351 #6 Posted September 30, 2021 And other than for myself, I don't even want to use a hammer or a saw. 40+ years of construction was enough for me. But the knowledge of all of the trades have been most useful throughout that time. Put a bathroom in last Spring and this up coming Spring, I'll redo the kitchen. I've been telling the little lady for years, when I retire. Well the time is here, and I have the ability, mostly I have the "time". I know what it takes to remodel inside a home, and when it's your own home and you're trying to live in it at the same time, it seems to take forever. Now I can stay at it and GET-ER-DONE. 2

Looking back over the past two months I can't believe all I've accomplished! The "Treasurer" says "There's no grass growing under me!"
