stegs 325 #32 Posted October 4, 2021 Alright, so I made the trade with a member here. I traded 2 mower decks that i had 0 use for, and traded for a a really nice tall chute blower. Blower is in great shape, and mounted up to the 417a without any issues. Gave is a quick run to check function, and its flawless! Also, found a pair of generic wheel weights yesterday. They were 20 bucks for the pair, and 5 min from my house! Came with the threaded rod to mount them. Got them put on last night so now the 417a is that much closer to being ready for snow! I did list my short chute blower last night for sale on fb marketplace. I dont know if ill need 2, and im kinda thinking i want to find a plow for the c-141. Also, my new idler pulley showed up friday, so i replaced that with a new belt on the 417a too Anyway, thanks for the info guys! peter lena 8,588 #33 Posted October 4, 2021 @squonk with you on that , what ever works , before it refreezes! if its wet at all , its the blade , to a sun area , if its dry its still going to the sun melting area , edge of road on to the lawn , clearing mailboxes etc. as you know , this is not a one and done deal , you regularly gain at every area you can . once the freeze happens , you should be as clear as you can get . pete Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

That snow wall was my barrier in the winter to keep the teenage kids out. The body spray alone on a cold dry day would make your eyes water!
