whchris 5 #1 Posted February 6, 2008 ok i know i should know this but the c-125 and the 702 both have a charging issue the c-125 is a starter /stator set up and the 702 is a starter gen set up the 125 has been rewired but the 702 is original wires from 1962 but neither one will give a charge Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
TT-(Moderator) 1,131 #2 Posted February 6, 2008 How much troubleshooting have you done so far, Chris? Did you do a stator output test on the C-125? Have you checked the output at the rectifier/regulator B+ terminal? Have you tried removing the ignition switch plug and cleaniing all connections? You can check the 702 generator real quick by grounding the field terminal. If it slows the engine down, the generator is OK, but the regulator may be bad.
