Sometimes people ask me to fix equipment for them.  I knew it was a snowblower, but I thought it was newer.  I not sure what I'm going to do with it.  Needs a lot of work.

Doesn't look that bad from here... but my eyesight is not that good, P'kipsee is a way off!

 

The engine appears to be newer, a B&S "Snow Commander" ?

 

What all is wrong with it?

 

Can't be near as bad as the one I'm re-doing now!  I've got about 60 hours into it now.  And they probably just want it WORKING but not RESTORED, right?

Tecky Jeff... got the same one on a MTD. Actually a pretty good motor for a Tecky. Mine always starts right up. Hit the primer bulb a little  choke  and goes like a son of a biscuit. I use it to clean up the edges and enjoy stuffing it into a drift just to hear it grunt. :lol: 

8 HP I think. The whole blower looks like an earlier version of mine.

      Not that my Ariens walk-behind snowblower let me down, but I really had to work hard today to move the snow off the last remaining driveway belonging to a neighbor. This is the one that I always have problems to begin with due to the grade it has. I almost gave up due to lack of traction. The depth of the snow was still about 24" but had settled almost a foot so was very dense. The Ariens kept climbing while moving forward and then losing traction . This may have been a rare occasion and maybe chains would have helped but I'm curious
       
      I have already spoken to 3Six about his but wondering if other members have any thoughts or experience?
