Pickled a couple of sweet orange peppers out of the garden, split them, baked them after stuffing them with leftover hoppin' john. Added to that with fresh beets found on the marked down rack at the farm market up the road, and some green beans from the neighbor's garden. No, the green beans were not a midnight acquisition, the neighbor had so many beans, he was tried of them and giving them away.
