New to me horse hauler

Recommended Posts

Just picked up a 21 ft. 6 in. horse hauler 6 ft. wide 2 5/16 ball. It holds 8 tractors! Tried to pull it with my '73 C-160 with a 10 hp transplant and kept popping wheelies! :auto-dirtbike: Had to get my truck!

:laughing-rolling: Thanks Ed but I did go nice and easy. The front went right up. I backed up a little no problem and tried to go forward again. It moved a little then the wheelies again :auto-dirtbike:  I gave up and got out the truck :handgestures-thumbupright:

If you wanna pull it with your horse, reduce the tongweight by moving some horses further back on the trailer, ideal over the two wheels..

but looks good! Is the trailer braked?

You just need to get you some nice big 20 x 8 x 8 fluid filled tires like I have for Cinnamon Horse. 120 extra pounds of downforce.

Nice trailer!!

I just put them on there for now so they're not hogging up my driveway. I don't plan on taking it anywhere at the moment.

Nice trailer!  That rolling frame on the right front of the trailer… if you ever plan to get rid of it put my name on it :handgestures-thumbupright:  I don’t even need the transmission… just the frame and front axle:banana-linedance:
