Conta 1 #1 Posted September 12, 2021 Hi! I did som oilpressure sensor fixes and now i dont get the engine control linkage to work, so i have full gas all the time and when i move the throttlehandle nothing happens. I guess i have messed upp some of the linkage to engine controls. Any one have a picture of or can help me with how it is connected? like the wheelhorse from 98 is a ghost. Would be very glad for some help.
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,112 #2 Posted September 12, 2021 Throttle cable pulls on spring to increase rpm. Governor slows rpm down. The higher the rpm the more force it provides to slow down.
Conta 1 #3 Posted September 14, 2021 (edited) Thanks, been trying to fix it now for days. The problem seems to be that the governor lever dont go back and shuts the carbourator which makes it full throttle all the time. I did get the spring (at the blue line,) to pull the governor lever when giving full throttle. But there is nothing that pulls the governor lever back to left on the picture so the carburator shuts. How or what is making the governor arm go to left i.e shut the carbourator? Edited September 15, 2021 by Conta
