Towing something like your new trailer, my Ram 1500 with a 5.7 would get about 18 mpg.  Hope yours does about the same.

That's pretty good! My Dakota I had with the 4.7 only got 16 or 17 watching your speed with the wind at your back!! Dang sure not pulling a trailer!

Picked this trailer up this morning.

7x18. Gonna make a low budget toy hauler out of it.

Lets see your trailer/camper conversions 20210911_091534.jpg.a958886020da7b7f6c1b67fbc7436182.jpg

Nice rig, I have always been a Chevy guy but I think I would rather have a newer Ram than Chevy these day!! That should make a nice toyhauler!!

Pretty impressive Bill!  A recent trip with Norman unloaded, I got 21.57.  I doubt I could get 18 with a trailer at highway speed, but my right foot doesn’t like to get passed too much either… :handgestures-thumbupright:

Unloaded, it is usually somewhere between 20 and 22mpg on the highway.
