pacer 3,174 #3 Posted September 10, 2021 I bought this one - it comes disassembled so when I put it together I flipped the top tray upside down for the smooth surface and with an old piece of 3/4" plywood cut to allow a 48" deck to sit with the rear lift wheels to hang off the sides, I bolted the ply down, along with adding 2 caster wheels in place of the straight ones to allow movement in any direction. Along with the deck, it is a very convenient place to sit an engine, tranny, axle, etc. I did this after I had sprung for one of HFs electric lifts that I hung from the rafters and realized it would make lifting the decks, engines, etc easily onto the cart which could then be rolled all around the shop --- one of my better ideas Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I can get still down but getting back up is becoming more and more difficult especially repeatedly. 953 nut 55,325 #7 Posted September 10, 2021 I bought my lift cart right after my spinal fusion surgery six years ago, it is the best tool in my shop! In addition to lifting heavy items it doubles as a work table which can be adjusted to the correct height for any job. RJ Hamner 1,007 #8 Posted September 11, 2021 Several years ago my wife took pity on me after all my grousing about crawling around the floor working on the tractor (my first one) We looked at HF and about a dozen others and settled on this one 1200 lbs it raises up to my waist level (I'm 6'2") its air/hydrolic I think we gave around $1300 for it It's been worth every penny 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
