420 - LSE Leather arm rest recovered

Recommended Posts

JCM

When I bought the 420 it had the 520 type armrest on it. Don't know what happened to the originals. I  had a spare set of 520 armrest so the search started to locate someone who would be willing to  recover those with leather. Picked them up this afternoon on my way home from work and I feel they did a great job considering the task at hand. Now if I can get a second mortgage I may have the seat done over the Winter. I will be looking for opinions from those that will be here this weekend at the Meet to vote on leaving the seat original or having that redone to match the armrests.

Very nice! Hard to believe they used actual cow hide on these given the life most garden tractors live.

They look nice!
I think Craig’s 420 seat is under the knife right now so he would know what a seat re-do will set you back.

Both make grass shorter so clearly they're identical.

I know I probably will have the seat done, it just deserves it.

Yes if you mean onion powder, garlic powder, season salt, black pepper and Worcestershire sauce, then yes I pamper cows more....

Sorry I’ll be at the pease air show with family. I work at Lonza on the trade port and we have had that day planned well in advance. Keep your eyes to the sky’s, you will surely hear and see the Air Force Thunderbirds and F22 Demo squad. Hope to meet you good folks next year!!

876 seat. $190 with embroidery. I thought it was high, but it does look nice.

And according to some, create similar amounts of gaseous exhaust.
