8ntruck 6,991 #1 Posted September 3, 2021 I know these things are as rare as hen's teeth, but since acquiring a C-195, I am curious about them. My tractor has a control valve for a rear lift. Some of the plumbing is there, but capped off. Was it delivered from the factory this way? As frugal as Wheel Horse was, it seems like that additional valve and plumbing would not be on the tractor unless it was going to be used. @pullstart - I saw one of your pictures of a C-195 with a 3 point. Yours? You still got it? I am thinking that a future project could be building a 3 point hitch for mine. If you have one, could I use it as a reference to build a hitch? 19richie66 17,500 #2 Posted September 3, 2021 I’m not 100% sure but I think the C-195 uses a 3 point that is almost the same as a D series. Uprights may be a little shorter. Worth checking into. 👍

953 nut 55,113 #4 Posted September 3, 2021 Take a look at what Tyson has to offer. It is from a GT-14 so not a direct bolt-up.

Sorry Bill, I’ve no 3 points in the stables… the only C195 ever close to my possession I just hauled with @Bow_Extreme when he helped find me Mrs. P’s Ride Away Senior.

8ntruck 6,991 #7 Posted September 3, 2021 I was wandering through the Toro parts diagram last night. It only shows the double control valve for the C-195. I also discovered that the C-195 3 point hitch is described as a class 0 hitch. That gets us into Ag industry standards, which have aftermarket support. The Wheel Horse parts are rare, but useable, adaptable parts from other sources will be more common. OK by me. This is going to be a working tractor, not a show machine. My D200 has a 3pt and you are correct it will work with non powered implements... However if the implement needs power very different sorry. Only WH stuff will work.
8ntruck 6,991 #9 Posted September 3, 2021 Good point. At this time, I don't see anything powered going on the back of this tractor. If I happen to need that feature in the future, this will be an issue to solve at that time.

I think you will find Cat 0 to be rather scarce in the after market, but the Cat 0 was/is common across a wide choice of other models of GTs - JD, Cub, MF, etc The Cat 1's attachments are VERY plentiful! One of my D's came with a triangle hitch with spaced holes across and I really liked that type, but as of lately I cannot find that version, only ones that has a receiver tube in the middle. 8ntruck 6,991 #11 Posted September 7, 2021 Was doing some research looking for the bore and stroke of a Wheel Horse 3 point lift cylinder. Have not found that information yet, but I did discover that the C-195 3 point lift cylinder is the same part number as the cylinder used on the mid lift in the D series. 19richie66 17,500 #12 Posted September 7, 2021 Should be the same as a gt14 also.
