aemsee 93 #1 Posted September 2, 2021 Hi. Found this listed for $50...but JUST blade and frame. Should this fit my 89 310-8? And how hard to find all the stuff it needs to function? Many thanks as always

roadapples 6,983 #4 Posted September 2, 2021 (edited) Actually, can't see enough of the frame to be sure I might be wrong. It's happened before. Take a picture of the whole frame... Edited September 2, 2021 by roadapples

Racinbob 11,093 #6 Posted September 2, 2021 I actually think it's for a long frame and even has a homemade extension for a 520. I don't think the shorty had two locations for the bar. We do need to see it all to be sure.
stevasaurus 22,764 #7 Posted September 2, 2021 It's a long frame snow blade. It will fit his 310-8, but is missing all the wire and pieces for angling the blade. Not shown, he would also need the attach-a-matic for the transmission axle. He could make all the steering mechanism parts, but the way it is...$25. Maybe the seller has the other parts...then $50.

peter lena 8,634 #22 Posted September 4, 2021 @aemsee for 50$ , that's a deal, first thing , ( if you want to ) give it an oil spray down to stop rust save patina and make that steering quadrant work easier , like stevaasaurus said , need a rear axel mount as well as blade swing lever and linkage . note you have the blade wear strip on that , hope its not worn down to blade edge bolt point . that quadrant can be really made to work with ease with tighter lever fittings and lubrication detail . I heim jointed my swing rod lever , no effort . good luck with it , pete

Added about as much as was there, plus a 3 bay garage. We barely ever did things in a small way.
