squonk 41,118 #4 Posted August 31, 2021 Your listing 11 tractors for consideration. It took you that long to decide "Hey this is nuts?"
rjg854 11,361 #5 Posted August 31, 2021 From your list, I would start with the machines you have doubles of. Then I suppose any tractor you don't want to put time and money in. There's a start.

D_Mac 8,619 #7 Posted August 31, 2021 I have found out sometimes the ones you want to sell, are not the ones people want to buy. I had a guy come over to look at my 500 Special yesterday. He bought my 857 !!! Have I mentioned how much I liked that tractor?? 1 1

I mentioned before that I didn't get good results on my cancer check up couple weeks ago. Turns out it's back again. This time on one of my kidneys. I am still trying to get back on my feet from my long battle 2 years ago. This will be my 3rd go round with it. I'm selling off a few in order to generate some cash. I keep telling myself I will find more. You know I always do. Last time I sold all I had. Here I am year later with all new ones. I'm excited to see what new ones I will have a year from now when I kick cancers ass AGAIN !!! Edited September 1, 2021 by D_Mac 1

kwalshy 229 #12 Posted September 1, 2021 Split the group into 2. Group 1 - Absolutely will not sell. Group 2 - those you can live without, if there are any! Since you have 2 garages: Place Group 1 into Garage A and Group 2 into Garage B. Start posting Group 2 for sale and don't ever show anybody or tell them about Garage A.
shallowwatersailor 3,213 #13 Posted September 1, 2021 EVERYTHING should be for sale if you are looking to cull the herd. I went down this road four years ago when we were moving to a smaller property. I had 16 tractors: three 5xi, three Black Hoods, three Wheel Horse 300/400-series, three Gravely Bee Hinds, three Simplicity Bee Hinds, and one David Bradley. Everything but one Black Hood and the three Simplicitys are gone. But I then bought a 314-8 as my main tractor. In hindsight I should have kept a 5xi. You don't want to be in a position of needing to let tractors go for next to nothing. You will feel better. Then when you have it down to a reasonable number - start hunting again as that is fun also! I haven't stopped looking for another 5xi!!!
WheelhorseBob 1,549 #14 Posted September 2, 2021 My vote above the highlighted. Keep the 314H with low hours. keep the 315-8. Keep the 416-8 with the Kohler Magnum. The later may just be the best all around Horse evah! Oh and you probably don’t need two 160’s even though I do. 😂
