8ntruck 6,991 #3 Posted August 25, 2021 I had that issue earlier this year. Turns out that the C clip on the stub shaft on the PTO pulley had slipped out of its groove in the stub shaft. A trip to the hardware store for a new C clip fixed it. 4 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

If you remove the tension on the belt to the deck (engine off and keys in your pocket) will the blades turn freely?
