I picked up a 607 last week and have to rebuild the tranny. They are simple machines and they last a long time. I painted the wheels yesterday just to make them look a little nicer.

Yeah they aren’t bad. Been sitting  my for a while. 606 #2 fires up right now. Looks to have a fairly new carb on it.

606#1 needs carb work. Will run without the air filter. And needed to be pulled to get it started. (I know that’s not kosher)

The 700 has an electrical problem. If you bypass all electrical systems and pull-rope start it works. But we are excited to tear into them. Seem simple to work on

Great finds!  If that all original paint, they look like great candidates for a good cleaning and wax job.  You could do like some and clean them with steel wool and windex or dish soap, then polish them out.  You could also clear coat them.

Some pictures would be appreciated.

:text-coolphotos:                           Looks like you have three great tractors to work with. Any questions you have please feel free to ask.

So looking for some more advice… tire advice. The stock tires on the rear are 6-12. I’m going to try and jump up to 23x10.5x12. Turf tread. My question is what if anything should I change upfront for the best look. (And function)

Also, the tires/rims I’m replacing are badly dry rotted but still hold air. They are original with the wheelhorse brand stamped on them. Any value to these?

When buying new rims be sure to consider the rim offset so they don’t rub the inside fender

@JM72390 When I go with wider wheels I always track down a pair of 520 wheels and they have fit on every tractor that I have ever owned nicely.  I have used them on short frames, medium frames and long frames with no clearance issues.
